Olives

Olive damage.
Australia's olive industry is one of the most innovative and dynamic in agriculture, with exponential growth forecast over the next five years as millions of young trees come into production.
However AgriRisk estimates that only about a quarter of all growers have olive tree insurance, despite the fact that if trees are damaged or destroyed, production can be lost for up to four years.
AgriRisk is focussed on tailoring and building insurance products for olive clients to provide insurance cover for both olive trees and crops, structured appropriately so they will perform as expected in the event of a loss.
What Does Olive Insurance Cover?
- Destruction of trees as a direct consequence of fire, hail and windstorm. Trees are deemed destroyed when they are damaged to such an extent that they are no longer suitable for their intended purpose
- Loss of potential yield of your crop as a direct consequence of fire, hail, windstorm and frost
- If you have other specific requirements, AgriRisk may be able to tailor or design a suitable product
Please download AgriRisk's Olive Tree Leaflet for more information or the Olive Crop Leaflet for specific details of the current policy.
How Do I Get Olive Insurance?
AgriRisk does not believe in providing clients with 'off the shelf' insurance products that may not be appropriate to your individual business. Instead, you will be appointed an Account Manager to be your main point of contact. AgriRisk's qualified staff can provide specialist advice and specific recommendations based on the needs of your olive business and will do this in person, if you'd prefer.
Simply contact AgriRisk for more information or to make an appointment.
